My Love of
Flowers Started Young
We were lucky to grow up in a home with abundant grounds, and a mum who loved her garden. She worked tirelessly to nurture beds full of vegetables, roses and annuals. But her love was the humble dahlia.
Our garden beds sprouted dahlias in every colour, shape and variety. That's where I first saw the impact flowers could have.
Mum wasn't just a wonderful green thumb. She was also a highly respected nurse and a natural giver, someone who knew how to make a space, or a moment, feel cared for. It seemed only natural that floristry would become my calling.
In late 2023, we lost our much-loved mum after a long battle with dementia. Through that time, the garden and the flowers gave us a steady connection to her. To memories. To peace. To a place of much-needed calm. That's why this work matters to me in the way it does. Whether it's a wedding, a farewell, a milestone or a corporate space, every arrangement is designed with intention. Flowers have always done more than fill a vase. They carry meaning, mark moments, and stay with us long after the day is done.
